Please provide a brief description your ski hill/resort?
Excellent small area with all types of terrain including a cliff jump for those looking for a challenge. Four terrain parks ranging from beginners to advanced. Excellent beginner lesson program starting every hour at the top of the hour for ski and snowboarding lessons for only $2! Unique chalet with excellent snack bar and full service bar. Lines are short and snow is great!
What is unique about your property or what separates your ski hill from others in the area?
Personal interaction with our guests, customer service and different types of terrain that other areas can not give you. At Christie Mountain you are treated as our guest not a number. Snow is our business and you will find non better in the Midwest!
Any tips for first time visitors?
Unique little ski area with the best snow in the Midwest! Lessons every hour at the top of the hour for $2.
How many ski runs do you offer? What percentage of them are beginner, intermediate and advance? What is your favorite run and why?
Christie Mountain Snow Area offers 26 runs. Personally, I love them all. The break down is as follows:
10 – Green easiest
5 – Blue more difficult
4 – Black most difficult
2 – Extremely difficult
2 – Glade trails
4- Orange terrain parks
Do you sell season passes or annual memberships? What are the benefits of joining?
We do sell 6 and 12 packs along with season passes.
Do you offer a terrain park for snowboarders and skiers? What are key features?
Skiers and snowboarders both use the parks. Boxes, kink, rainbow, stepdown, barrel and many more types of rails.
What are your dining or food options? What is your favorite snack or dish?
Excellent snack bar with all the usual snack bar foods. Nothing is prepared ahead of time so all comes out hot and delicious!
Do you offer lodging on property or have lodging recommendations for traveling skiers? Please share accommodation options.
We do have our own Northern Boundaries Cabin Rental here on site, with one rental available at this time. A beautiful fully furnished log cabin, all amenities are provided.
