Opening Day Activities and Terrain
Wilmot Mountain is kicking off the 2024/25 winter season with a first chair banner break on Lift 2, swag giveaways while supplies last, and good vibes! Skiers and riders will enjoy 8 trails of freshly groomed terrain and a pop-up terrain park. Snowmaking will continue as conditions allow with the goal of adding new trails to the mix heading into the winter season. The bubly Tube Park will open later in the season.
“We’re thrilled to welcome skiers and riders back this season,” said Chuck Randles, General Manager at Wilmot. “These are the best snowmaking conditions we’ve seen in years, and we can’t wait for an incredible season ahead. Personally, I’m especially excited to enjoy a New Glarus Moon Man at the historic Main Lodge Bar, which is reopening for the first time since 2020.”
NEW FOR 24/25:
- The historic and fan-favorite Main Lodge Bar will reopen this season. This beloved landmark will once again welcome guests with its bar service and convenient grab-and-go snacks.
- Walt’s Tavern will be open on weekends and holiday periods. Walt’s Tavern is a casual dine in or take out restaurant featuring elevated tavern cuisine, from our house made BBQ Baby Back Ribs to the Chicken Enchilada Soup. Enjoy the upbeat, fun, family friendly atmosphere with a view of the hill. We can’t think of a ‘heartier’ way to warm up during one of our brisk ski days.
